Perfect for what I needed- adjusting the waistband of pants. Who says this only works for kids? I added to my own pants to adjust for weight fluctuation. Wish some of the buttons were clear or white though. They are all black even though I purchased the 2 pack - 1/2 black 1/2 white elastics

This product is very useful. I purchased it to take in some Carhartt pants that needed to be taken in 4" on the waist. This would have been very difficult to do. The solution was to slide the elastic through the inside of the waistband securing each end with a button. Then you can pull the elastic to the tightness that you need. It's ingenious and saved me a lot of work. I even used the elastic on my own waistband that the pants fit nicely in the hips but were too big at the waist. It's a quick fix.

This stuff is awesome! I love that it came with so much elastic and even buttons to go along. Saved a bunch of time searching for the perfect buttons to use with this elastic.I have been using this to make pants with adjustable waistbands for my toddler. Easy as can be, just thread this stuff through suits in the inside of the current waistband see some buttons on and his pants fit his skinny butt much better.I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!
