Your cart is empty.This template hinge mortise bit has a 3/4" Cutting diameter with a 1/4" Cutting depth. This bit's shallow cutting depth and center meeting blades make it perfect for routing door hinge mortises using a hinge template. 1/4" Shank. Flush trim template router bits work in your router Table or handheld router. Secure your template to the top face of the work for handheld operations, or to the bottom face of the work when using a router table. It's helpful to have at least a couple of flush trim bits in different sizes in your router bit Collection. 1/4" And 1/2" Diameters make a good combination.

The black fixing thing it bigger than the bearing, the hole in it scratched all over straightedge I used as a guide, do not recommend. The bit itself is ok, definitely not Freud, but might work, as long as you template is thinner than the bearing height.

Great value for the money. Used this bit to route out all hinges for hanging all new doors in my house, using the ryobi hinge kit (template) and all the doors went up perfectly. If you need a shallow cutout with an upper bearing bit, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Bearing screw wasn’t tightened and was lost within first 10 min of work. As a result my project was ruined as a bit cut a way deeper when needed.Price-wise it is a good deal but terrible results will cost you hundreds of $ and hours of wasted time

My first fancy router bit and I'm very pleased with the purchase And results. Used it to trim into corners of side planks to create grooves for smaller planks to be glued into, and it worked flawlessly. Came in a fancy packaging and now it is one of my favorite bits. Next project is to create a cavity inside a solid plank. Will keep you posted, possibly with a video.
