If you don't mind the velcro closures, these are great little chef hats. The tops are a mesh like material making them breathable, which is GREAT in a hot kitchen. And they of course do the job that they are meant to, but keeping your hair on your head and out of the food. They also work pretty well at soaking up the sweat from your forehead, another plus. But I can't say I'm crazy about the closures. Yes, it's handy when it comes to sizing, but my hair keeps getting caught in the velco which is irritating.
