Besides needing power via a micro usb to the HDMI the cable itself is only a few inches in length. Meaning you’ll then have to find a longer cable to replace that and best of all a new power outlet with USB ports cause there’s no way the HDMI cable will even be long enough to go from tv to device.One of my 2 cables didn’t even last 2 seconds and won’t send a signal to the TV at all.So as the title suggests.
