Just what I needed! Although I have other cords to feed from my generators to projects, I needed a shorter one to minimize line loss for one particular purpose. My larger back-up generator (EU7000i) is just barely able to run my water heater using this cable when I temporarily set the breakers to only run the water heater. When power is down, I do this in the morning to heat up the tank (for 5-10 minutes) ... then disconnect the water heater and re-enable the rest of the house breakers. It only takes a moment and this cable does the trick. Easily carries the rest of the house (2 gas furnaces, deep well water pump, 2 refrigeration units, lighting, etc.) Nice, high quality product. Only minor complaint is that the cable is stiff in sub 40 degree (F) temperatures. I overcome this by leaving the house end attached and the cable laid out flat. Makes is way easier to plug into generator end when needed.

We just went through Milton. The hurricane also Helene, but Helene. We did not lose power, but with Milton. We did the power cord worked wonderful.We were so happy we bought it.

Lots of manufacturers out there; all with similar product for sale. The 40ft length was exactly what I needed and the construction, color and price all came together with this cord. Buying this beefy extension cord now allows wife & I to run our generator during power outages well OUTSIDE of our garage and safely away from the house. Bright yellow sheathing makes this cord easy to spot. (I added a few pieces of reflective tape every few feet to make finding it in the dark even easier - with a flashlight.) Cord is very beefy, with thick, shrouded plugs at both ends. Fit is tight to both genny & house circuit breaker hook-up, without having to struggle to secure either end into position. I feel much safer having this added to our household outage emergency kit. 5 STARS
