Two of the tuners were assembled incorrectly with respect to the post and the cog. When I disassembled them to repair, I lost the small washer/bushing which was the incorrectly placed part. I now have three working tuners and one useless one which makes the entire set useless to me until I find a replacement bushing. These are decent looking, inexpensive tuners but check them over carefully before using them. There are in fact better deals to be had elsewhere.

After installing (i.e. drilling holes for the screws in my antique instrument) one of the tuners turned out to be defective as I tried to tighten the string. The peg stem attachment just rotated uselessly as I began to tighten the string. Now I need to buy a more reputable brand of tuning gears, but which may not line up exactly with the newly drilled screw holes. Extremely frustrating and disappointing!

I had to junk mine because the quality was too cheap to work on the guitar.Amazon did not give me enough time to take advantage of their return policy.A luthier friend saw what I was trying to work with and gave me some Gotohs.

DO NOT BUY!!! READ MY REVIEW, ALL OF IT!!!I've ordered at least 15 times and they have been great every time. These WERE by far the best tuners I've used for an affordable price.NOT ANY MORE!!!I don't know if the seller changed where they source their products or the if manufacturer changed the way they produce their tuners but now these are the worst tuners I have ever used. Sometimes the gears don't even engage with each other 😓 I'm serious, they don't even work.I'm sorry to all the unfortunate people that bought these because I left a positive review before. It also sucks because I bought in bulk this time. Don't waste your time with these.To the seller/ manufacturer...I like the way you used to make this product in the past. Have you ever go back to the old way of manufacturing please let me know. You used to make a good product. Now you just make trash that I'm reluctant to throw away because I spent money on it. If you decide to start selling a higher quality product again then I would be happy to promote it with positive reviews. But now you won't get my reviews or my money anymore.
