Seems to work good, but it did not have any hex lock down screws with the coupler had to reuse old ones

The hardest part was getting to old coupler fittings off of the shafts. Man the manufacturer sure torques down those set screws! The price is a lot more than a replacement plastic coupler but will last forever. Well built and slid right on the motor and pump shafts. It's worth the price to have piece of mind that the plastic one won't crack and break over time. The rubber/urethane bushing will accommodate any minor misalignment and vibration without fear of breaking down. If you want reliability and a repair that will last the life of the pump, then get this coupler.

Buy this updated part from Yellow jacket. The original part (same part number) is a plastic/rubber sleeve that goes around the two shafts. Really poor design but nice to see Yellow Jacket step up and update the design and at a very reasonable price. If you have the sleeve type, replace it sooner rather than later. How do you know the sleeve type failed. It is the quietest electric motor and the pump is dead silent.

My vacuum pump original coupling finally let go. This was a nice quality and quick to install replacement and took about 20 minutes to change! Now it's back in action.
