Arrived in packaging that was obviously used/returned. Item did not work. Too cheap to deal with a return so in the trash it goes. Not a trusted seller. Will not buy again.

I'm sure it is really great, if you can get it to work. I use a softphone at work and so far haven't been able to get it to work with my setup. I'm sure it would be useful for the right setup. Even after checking that it is compatible with my headset and operating system, still no dice.

Nothing fancy here--it's a light that lets your co-workers know when you're available or on a call. You can change the light on top to a star or a heart, but the functionality is the same. The light is red when you're on a call, green when you're available and assuming you have the MP50 USB phone yellow when you're away from your desk. Useful if you have one of the listed phones/headsets though the two headsets I've purchased in the past year both have a 'busy light' functionality built in. Assuming you're got a MP50 USB phone or a WH62, WH63, WH66 or WH67 headset it's highly recommended.

When I first installed the Yealink WH67, I thought this was an unnecessary accessory and decided to skip it. Well, fast-forward three months later and this was exactly what I needed. I work from home and when wearing a headset everyone assumes that you are just wearing it for the fashion element rather than actively in a meeting. After endless scrambling for the mute button when someone in the family decided that their personal drama needed immediate sharing, I know have the BLT60 installed, and everyone can visibly see when I am on a call. I am starting to get everyone to pay attention to the little light before starting their conversations. Such a simple device but so necessary in this work from home society.

Maybe it was the extended period of everyone working from home, but now that people are coming back into the office they seem to have forgotten how to check if you're busy before busting into your cubicle to ask a question or start a conversation. This busy light should give them a clue. While many people who are constantly taking calls never remove their headset, it's hard to tell if they're actively on a call or free. It's a matter of training others to look at the light to see your status. Hopefully others will see the value and request busy lights for their cubicles and at some point when most people have them this will become second nature to check. Some of the others in the office have different brands of headsets, but most offer similar lights although I've noticed that most are more expensive than the Yealink brand.

This plugs right into the back of my Yealink soft phone and headset. Whenever I'm on it, it glows red to signal family members that I'm on the phone. Great for home workers or office workers that might frequently be interrupted.Remember - you have to have the appropriate Yealink device for this to work. One improvement would be if this could be wireless. That way I could put it outside of a door rather than within 3 feet of my Yealink device.
