Worked as expected. Used only a small portion and protected the tendons and inserts from gathering moisture. Reduced swelling of wood in those areas and make the instrument easy to take apart.

Limited experience as this is only the first bottle I have purchased. I replaced my strings, and oiled the fretboard of a Yairi Alvarez CY 200. It was absorbed nicely, so should provide the protection needed. Used less than 10% of the bottle, and I presume will use less in subsequent applications.

Really works and gets all the finger oils and smut off of the fretboard! Makes the fretboard look and feel like new.

Did a little maintainance on my Yamaha 300sc. In the process of replacing my strings, i lubed the neck and saw a marked inprovement in it's color and feel. Looked much richer. I'm glad i bought this bore oil. I got wind of it from a youtube on how to restring an accoustic guitar.

I use this bore oil on my key-less wooden flute. The oil soaks right into the wood, protecting it from moisture.
