Very tight, responsive and accurate. Took a little while to get used to it coming from a single chain drive pedal. Definitely worth it.

This thing is brilliant! I love Yamaha gear and this pedal is no exception. I upgraded from a kinda low quality PDP pedal and the difference is just over the top. If you have the money to dedicate to a kit upgrade, this is great choice. Super durable; thick, heavy materials; extremely solid construction; incredibly configurable; easy to install; even comes with a nice bag (that is exactly the length of a drumstick--I'm not sure if this was intentional, but it makes for great drumstick storage when not in use for the pedal). The weights you can add to the beater are cool. Even Yamaha drum keys are solid (this comes with 1).
