This durable, reliable double chain drive boasts fluid movement. The cam at the bottom of the chain can be moved into three positions, allowing the drummer to fine tune the pedal's action to match their preferred performance. It can also be used as a belt drive by replacing the belt that is included with the pedal.

I've owned several brands and models of kick pedals. This one is my favorite. It has performed flawlessly for years. I am a working professional drummer doing over 300 gigs a year.

I'd say after 15 years, I found THE pedal. While I'll never part with my DW hardware/pedals- these get more use. Feel is incredible- so is the adjustability. Great design! I use both single chain amd double direct drive. Nary one complaint with these. Historic Yamaha quality continues (thankfully). Alejandro

Been drumming for about 22 years now and this pedal is exactly what I'd hope it be. Been using DW pedals in the past 5000, 6000 double chain and always like the feel of the double chain but needed a longer pedal.This is it! Smooth, responsive, great overall feel. The quality of all the parts are solid and heavy duty, I really like all the small adjustments you can make and knowing they throw in the additional weights was a plus.Money well spent knowing it's going to last a long time. I'm regulation gigging drummer so at times my hardware takes a beating, so it gives me peace of mind know the quality of this pedal is here for the long haul.

Unfortunately, in a back-to-back comparison, the Yamaha FP9500C feels better. It cost much less too.
