Your cart is empty. The YakAttack Rigging Bullet Mounting Hardware enables you to install Gear Trac in areas where securing the hardware is out of reach. You know the scenario: It would be great to install Mighty Mount or Gear Trac hardware behind the seat or maybe off the tank-well but it is almost impossible to reach for a proper install. The engineers at YakAttack have your solution. Using the YakAttack FullBack Backing Plate with the YakAttack Rigging Bullet you are able to install mounts and tracks almost anywhere on your boat. Watch the video below for full installation details.

These did the job, but would benefit from thicker wall on threaded tube. Too easy to bend/break.

They get the job done, but can be a pain to work with. They allow you to install tracs in places where you can't access the inside of the hull to attach hex nuts (I wanted something more secure than screws or rivets). One tip is to try to get the drill holes free of shavings and residue. I had a problem removing the plastic residue from the underside of the holes. When I used the strings to pull up the backing plate, the residue would get pressed up into the holes. This kept me from being able to screw the bolts into the backing plate. It took me several tries pulling the backing plate up before all my holes were clear. Also, the rigging bullets sometimes get jammed and are hard to remove...and they are fragile. I broke the tip off one trying to get it out. Fortunately, it was still usable. But, with a little patience they work brilliantly. I got two 12-inch tracs installed, and with the metal backing plates they are very secure.

Works very well but somewhat expensive for what they are. They did make the job neater and easier.
