I bought this replacement salt cell in hopes that it works after my OEM one died on me. Quality seems to be great just like the OEM. Easy to install with no leakage when tightening the fittings and quick set up. Pool is back to generating salt through the cell and water is sparkling clear. Definitely worth the purchase price as it was not at much as a OEM product. Perfect fit and no modifications needed. I will be buying again when it comes time to replace in a couple of years.

I installed this feel to replace a TCELL-940 on our Hayward system. It installed exactly as the old one (actually better because it didn’t leak when tightened by hand). The cell appears to be working (volts and amps, that sort of thing). It came with a cell cleaner stand, which I already purchased recently, and 2 new female nuts if you need them. Amazon recommended purchasing new O-rings (you know that + thing at the bottom of your page), but these are not necessary because it come with the nuts. If it lasts half as long as the Hayward cell I will be very happy!Update: the cell stopped working after two months. Attempted to contact seller but blocked by Amazon.

My apologies to XTREMEPOWERUS. I wrote the review below before I discovered there was no problem with the salt cell, it was my controller unit that was not working. Now it is functioning properly and the new Xtremepower salt cell works great.This salt chlorination cell for 25,000 gallon pool was delivered promptly, but has not worked since being installed. I have tried contacting XtremepowerUS to correct the problem but only get recordings to call back or email. After emailing, I received a quick generic response that they are so busy they may not get back to me for 10 days or more. that would be over the 130 day window for AMAZON returns, so I am sending it back and purchasing a salt cell elsewhere. I might add that I am very happy with the operation of the Xtremepower Auto Suction Pool Cleaner.

This unit so far seems to work with Circupool! My new unit would have been an additional $150. I plugged and played right in with the system. I will not know the longevity of the cell and if it will hold up past the 30 day return for a couple weeks but so far my pool is right on. Hopefully this works out and the savings worth the risk. Will not the plug is the same but it does have an additional rubber on the end of the wire that you may think won't sit in the housing but it does. May need to make sure when plugging that it sits as mine at first didn't but I got it to seat in.
