Great little piece to make any hose into a quick disconnect hose for your BCD or dry suit. Allows you more access to different lengths and colors of hoses to convert into inflator hoses or help you in a pinch if your inflator hose breaks and all you have is LP regulator hoses.

This Female connect will not work with the XS Scuba Brass 2nd Stage Quick Disconnect that they sell. The Female end is too small for it. This Adapter is totally different than the one from the 2nd stage Quick Disconnect. The Hole for the male adapter on this female is too small.

I bought this part because I wanted to use a Miflex hose for my dry suit inflation. I found that I had to apply more force to attach the connector to the inflator, but it pops of much easier.

if you struggle with dexterity in cold water when diving this is the fitting for you, just remember to give it a little tug to ensure it is fully deployed.

Works great, and is perfect for your save a dive kit. As an instructor, I can't have a failed drysuit hose cost me a day of diving. This works with a standard LP regulator hose, making it a drysuit/LP inflator hose using common tool (adjustable wrench etc). I actually prefer this to the drysuit inflator hose that came with my suit.
