Does not stay clicked down at speed. Going to try using some 5200 to secure it. Using the optional lock-down screw defeats the purpose of the flip-up design and would require me to drill another hole in my transom.

The fit and finish of this transducer bracket belie the price of the bracket. The kit includes all necessary installation parts including the Allen wrench for the adjustment tension pivot bolt. The bracket can be installed directly on the transom or onto a transom saver block. Missing is a paper template for marking the holes but the base plate is thin enough to allow accurate marking without the template.I cannot speak to the durability of the bracket – that depends on the plastic used and internal structure. This can only be determined by destructive testing. But it looks strong enough.I will use this bracket to attach another transducer to my boat for a removable stern-mounted head so we can mark the fish while trolling.
