Very nice quality item. Made exactly like the Harley backrest we were planning on ordering which was three times this amount. Glad we made the choice to go with this one. Works great . Looks great too. Definitely recommend.

I added a few pictures of what the seat mounting looks like installed since the seller doesn’t include any. You’ll need to open access to the battery to get in the bolts for the lower bracket. Not overly difficult but you will need Torx bits (battery access) SAE and Metric tools to get everything done.

This review is 5 months after original purchase. Bought this backrest for my 2014 Harley Road Glide. Used it for 5 months needless to say one of the brackets broke, I contacted their customer service and let me tell you they made things right. This product is easy to install and great for the value. I would definitely buy again.

It was what I wanted. Easy to install, it’s comfort when I got it adjusted. Cost well it was great for the money.

The tension spring bent and became unusable after one use. I requested a replacement spring and you would have thought I was asking for a million dollars. The base is easy to install but the backrest is junk. You have to really struggle to get it mounted with the seat on and, like I said, the spring is crap. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. Very poor customer service.

Easy Installation. Excellent Quality. Heavy Duty Construction.The backrest is fully adjustable, back, forth, up, down and pad tilt.All the bracketry and pad mount function is identical to original Harley DavidsonCan be easily (no tools) removed and installed when needed. Pad tilts forward for passengerwhen getting on or off bike.

Very happy with shipping speed considering it came from China. Only 7 days.Quality seems to be the same as official Harley parts.Very comfortable.There are no instructions as stated in the product description so you should look up some YouTube videos. Install is very easy.One special note if you are installing on a Harley Trike. You will need to add some washers under the small bracket to compensate for the thickness of the base for the passenger hand grips. The holes will line up properly with the shims (washers) installed.
