I love these boots, they really are water proof, they are comfortable, great value for money, they look good and stylish for hiking or every day use in the winter months. Great brand so chuffed to get them at a good price here.

I'm a size UK5.5, usually up size to UK6 due to wide feet. Ordered UK7 of these; good length but no wriggle room for toes. Think I need a UK7.5Great quality; I'm buying because my old ones served me beautifully for years. Sizing on the label of my old ones is different to advertised here, so having to gamble and return.

These look narrow right out of the box and I disliked the style, returned them. I read some reviews that said after wearing them they stretch out and become wider in the toe box, but I didn’t like them enough to try. I love the Xero Ridgeway boots though!

I picked this shoe because I needed a waterproof hiker, and yes it really is waterproof. A longer break in period than any of the other Xero's I have so I was very skeptical but I ended up loving them. Definitely stiffer and a bit narrower but they do limber up after some wear. Just got back from a hiking trip that 3 of us had this shoe and we all loved them.

amazons try before you buy just rocks. these boots were stiff and looked narrow when i got them but they are xeros and no padding so i thought that might be partially why. i tried them for 3 days on a treadmill 30 min a day at incline 8 and gradually moved to zero... first day, stiff but not bad at all... 2nd day more broken in, i liked them and thought i'd keep them but tried a 3rd day.. 3rd day way more broken in - felt really great ... so i purchased them and then i took them out in the desert.. they were even better on the trail than on the treadmill ( makes sense, they are made for the trail ). the fit was great, my foot didn't move around and the toe box was plenty big enough that my toes weren't crampled. really great boots... love that they are xero's .. love the feel.... love the boot. it just needed a couple days of break -in and they are great.

Don't like that they can't make the sizes meet traditional ones, if I have to wear a "size" that is exactly one size large then rename the sizes. the toe box is no where near as roomy as most barefoot shoes. A little tight at first but stretches to a comfortable size in a few days. my loves are that they are warm in snow and freezing temps my feet are warm even with thin socks. the look of them is nice all the others seemed to be made of house shoe materials.

Way too small for a UK size 8. I even ordered a size up and still too small. I think they must be us sizing or something even thought it only says UK sizes on Amazon. But there wasn't a woman's size up from the one I bought last, so I've not bothered ordering again.

Le scarpe da montagna col miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo.Belle, drop zero (sane), comode, stabili....Se proprio devo cercare il pelo nell'uovo, speravo in una caviglia più alta (comunque è adeguata)...Giusto uno o due centimetri in più...In ogni caso ottime.Quando dovrò comprarne di nuove per me, molto probabilmente comprerò queste, soprattutto se manterranno questo pezzo

This shoe is not a true barefoot shoe at all. The toe box was very narrow. My husband (who does not wear barefoot shoes or know much about them at all) said honey this looks really narrow, more narrow than my shoes. And it was very narrow. I had to squeeze my foot in just to make sure it wouldn't work ignoring the sight of it alone. For how lightweight they advertise them to be it didn't seem like it.

I’m usually a size 41 euro. I purchased USA size 10. My first impression when I got them out was how narrow they are. I tried them on after walking for an hour wearing other barefoot shoes so my feet were about as swollen as they could be after a day hiking.Narrow without socks. Uncomfortable with hiking merino socks. There was about a cm space at the end of the shoe so regardless I will have had to return for the next size up, but it was the width which was the biggest worry.I really deliberated over the size and contacted Xero to ask how to measure your foot and how to equate the measurements to Xero sizing. The response was pretty vague and basically said to go with your normal sizing and not euro sizing.I also found it quite tight by the heal but at least there does not seem to be any movement there. I don’t find the sole to be as flexible as I imagined. The sole bends at the widest part of the toe box where your foot bends, however I am concerned the crease might seem uncomfortable after a while.Edit - I have had these on my feet for an hour - just sitting in a chair and they really are quite painful and tight. Decision made to return. How these are barefoot and wide toe box is beyond me!The look and feel of the boot is nice. It would be fine as an everyday boot, bit not a hiking boot. Just for heavens sake Xero, sort your sizing out!I will be returning this item and have just processed the return to see that I will get the refund in 14 days. Not good enough. - I just changed the review from 2 stars to 1 star

I love the concept of these shoes. I bought a trail running pair and was immediately hooked. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes so I thought I would get some for hiking. I bought the same size but the fit was tight in my toe box area bit the next size up would be too long. Otherwise I liked this style and would buy if the fit was good.
