Great hat! Im using it for a costume and it works well! I just threw it in the wash to let out the wrinkles and now its perfect!

Black fluted chef's hat, a good match for someone who does smoking/BBQ and wants to add a little pizazz. The hat came sealed in a plastic bag and is folded flat, so a little pressing or steaming is needed if you want to take out the wrinkles. The material is of a medium weight and the hat seems as if it would fit most people.

These chef hats are really nice, so much nicer than I'd expected, given how inexpensive they were at this writing (about $26 for seven hats). The fabric is sturdy and feels durable, and although they come in one size they're adjustable. The hats are definitely of high enough quality to use professionally. For me, however, they're going to add some fun and zest to an upcoming neighborhood cooking event. They'll be a huge hit, no doubt. Top craftsmanship, great value. Highly recommend!

I think this might be more kid focused, though I can understand you want a tight hat in the kitchen as a chef. I had to really squeeze it to get it on, but overall pleased with it.

The material for these baker hats seems rugged, but the ‘adjustable elastic’ part and the whole headband itself is poorly designed and won’t last. The ‘adjustable elastic’ refers to single piece of elastic inserted into an open seam at the back of the hat. The entire headband does not stretch but for an inch of elastic at the back where the headband is cut open and reattached with the elastic. Having been a professional baker for years, I can say this would not hold up long. Even worse, it didn’t fit my apparently ginormous head.

I ordered this hat for a Chef in the family.Although the food is very good, he is not a professional Chef.Therefore, in my case, I am not too concerned that the hat fits tight.I should have purchased a different brand, that was a much better price.As for the quality, I am not sure what a Chef's hat is supposed to feel like.This material seems fine, and I assume you can do a machine wash.
