I have been through who knows how many of these ballasts at this point over the years. I used to get about half a year out of these ballasts before they would fail and to me that was okay for the price as they used to be about 13 bucks. Lately these have been failing after a month or two. The past 3-4 I have ordered have not lasted longer than 3 months. Last one I got lasted 2 months before failing. Just outside return window. Seems they do not have good quality control. Will not be buying again.

I have purchased 2 sets hopefully this set last once I in stalled them lights are very bright looks great on any vehicle unfortunately mines did not last for 1 month the ballast blew out fast I had to purchase another set

his is good bang for your buck. I was worried how well the power supply was going to hold up. Well I have had mine for years now. I had to replace one becouse if gt was under the fender well and it rained really hard water got I moved it. Any way I heard stuff like this burns out fast. Not these and so easy to install. I use to not be able to see well it's a lot better now. piece of cake hooking it up.

So far haven't had to many issues with this product, the HID lights it is connected to are bright and steady so far. Only real annoyance was needing these to drive my vehicle and when it arrived the clips where the wire connects were broken. So only one side actually clipped on. Otherwise not horrible for price.

Just a heads up - I recommend you purchase two ballasts and two lights at the same time. The differences between each bulb and ballast causes some differences in the brightness/appearance of the lights. We originally purchased a much more expensive, metal ballast - but only 1. The difference between the two brands was dramatic, unacceptable. NOTE this is the same as the one that failed in our car. So we replace 1 because the seal failed and water poured into it - and the rubberized board inside was not fully rubberized on our 1st one - so the board corroded. Within several weeks, the other ballast failed - same problem. We bought the car like this so we were not eligible for any warranty, without paperwork. This was easy to install. We added additional silicon sealer around the seams and connectors to assure over time, water should not get inside again. It was rain water going down the edge of the hood alongside the cable. This was installed on a 2005 VW Jetta - and was an aftermarket change to the std lights (zeon). Clearly the ore expensive ballast - being completely metal and fully sealed is better for long term - but WAY WAY more expensive for a used car that we probably solved the problem with silicone sealant. And this one looks cooler.

Excellent customer care excellent product it's worked for me every time I haven't had not one problem with the product and if I do if they short out from water or something customer care takes care of the problem sends me a new ballast and I send them the old one and I plug it in and keep going. But this product is not sold in pair ballast but in singles I repeat singles not pairs unlike other people say that it's sold in pairs it's not its sold in singles. But buy their kits and products I can't complain with none of their products

I got the lowest price Xentec HID kit from a friend cuz it didn't work in his car. One ballast blew the 1st day going from low to high beam and back. (pointless cuz these are brighter than my high beams) The other blew a few weeks later. I replaced them with these. The next price up from the cheaper black plastic ones. They have lasted for 75,000 miles so far. I ONLY use low beams and even have them on during the day. If I'm driving they are on. I have had no problems at all.
