Experimenting with lighting options for my AmpliLux head lamps between 100W halogen, LED or HID's.These arc against lamp mount causing it to flicker until the capsule warms up. Not usable.On one capsule arc'd so bad it shut the ballast down in protection mode.Don't feel like opening the lamp mount base up to created added clearance especially on $1,800 AmpliLux headlamps that are extremely hard to find and very rare.

Installed these in a 2005 Honda CRV with H1 bulbs. These bulbs are slightly larger, which isn’t a problem. However, H1 bulbs comes with an adapter piece that goes between the bulb and headlight housing. To run these HID’s, you would need an aftermarket adapter/spacer piece to go in between these bulbs and the car’s headlight housings. They are cheap, but not included. Unsure if all H1 bulbs work this way, but I am assuming they do. Without an adapter, the retaining clip won’t hold the HID bulb in, at all. Other than that, it comes with everything else. They’re very bright. I got the 5000k, which is a very white light. All is well.

Easy to install , had to do a lil adjustment to fit into the stock housing but other than that it was all straight forward.

Super easy to install on my Infiniti m35xI wanted to do led but had a problem finding the ones that fit since I have H1’s it was very difficult. After the third time trying with different bulbs I found these and it was a perfect fit, But not as bright as I thought they would be.

Easy to install, pretty bright, but When I turn the key to the on position they turn on but one of them flickers. Also, when I turn my vehicle on, they turn on but then both of them shut off.

These were really great at first but it's been a month and one of the ballasts is already not working. I checked fuses and bulbs and it appears to be the ballast that is broken. This is really disappointing because I had my last HIDS for 4.5 years.
