Your cart is empty.The SeaCure X Type Model is a unique, custom mouthpiece designed to fit your mouth, teeth, and gums perfectly, providing uttermost comfort and eliminating jaw fatigue sometimes experienced with conventional mouthpieces. Being moldable, it can actually enter the mouth all the way to the rear of the jaw employing all of the diver's teeth for better regulator retention with less muscle effort. Additionally, thanks to its X shaped profile, this SeaCure model is significantly less bulky and does not cause gagging. The mouthpiece also includes a sealing attachment with a bite limiter which eliminates the possibility of over closure during the heat molding process. Complete molding instructions are included with each mouthpiece. Keep in mind, the mouthpiece can be remolded, if you are not satisfied with the first result or if dental work changes the bite. The SeaCure X Type Model Mouthpiece comes in 5 sizes: SeaCure 1 - fits standard orifice regulators (size 1-1/8” x 1/2”) SeaCure 2 - fits intermediate size orifice regulators (size 1-3/16” x 5/8”) SeaCure 3 - same diameter as a size 1 with double retention ribbing SeaCure 4 - fits orifice regulators and many rebreathers (size 1-5/16” x 11/16”) SeaCure 5 fits orifice regulators (size 1-7/16” x 13/16”) The full list of compatible regulators is constantly updated and can be found on the manufacturer’s website.

Have used these mouthpieces for many years, put this one on my snorkel as I like to swim laps during the winter at my gym to help stay in shape. Really makes a big difference biting down over time giving significant relief to your jaw and making the whole experience a lot more comfortable.

I chewed through my reg’s original mouthpiece on the first dive and barely made it to the fifth dive before it separated completely. So glad I got this! Very easy to shape and mold. Also extremely comfortable. I did have to use a separate zip tie as it was too large around to use the original piece from the Apeks XL4. Would be nice if it came with a fitted no bump tie. Going to get another one to add to my personal Save-a-dive bag!

Not used for diving by me. But.. it goes past the back of my teeth. I trimmed it a little so my gums weren't being cut/gouged.The other review with the comment about it missing the lip piece/ Your lips should wrap around the diving mouth piece but this has a negligible "ridge" that your lips can "hold in place". Other diving gear has it; this one doesn't. Most likely it'd slice your mouth apart.I did not boil it though so I only partly followed through with instructions... so. That's my 2 cents.

Definitely read AND FOLLOW the instructions (I read them 3 times). I was a little concerned about burning my mouth after dipping in the boiling water. But again if you follow directions and don't dip mouthpiece any longer than 15 seconds there is no risk of burning your gums. In fact I had to do it a second time (which is easy) cause I didn't notice I had the mouthpiece crooked in my mouth the first time. You'll definitely need to be looking in a mirror to do this properly. But the fit is excellent!!!! Very comfortable!!!

Besides the significant reduction in jaw fatigue and soreness (which alone, makes this mouthpiece worth every penny), this mouthpiece helped big time with equalizing... for those of you that are like me and need to wiggle your jaw or clench/swallow in order to equalize, this will make a big difference. I molded twice, first for my bite and second to finish molding my gum-line with my finger tips, I found the bite guard to be unnecessary during the process.Trimming to size was easy, molding was easy, fitting to the regulator was easy.... what more do you want?I've bought these as gifts for my dive buddies And they love them too.

I've dipped this thing 3 times, it's now so thin at my rear molars that it's translucent. It feels fine fitting it, I make sure it fits right, feels comfortable for a few seconds, then take it out of my mouth. I put it back in 20 minutes later and it feels like it's shrunk. I have to bite down to get it to 'fit' again. Like the dental arch is too narrow and it won't expand to match mine. Not happy, not sure if they'll take it back.UPDATE: 7/26/19 Well, 4th time was the charm but had to leave in my mouth for a considerable amount of time and i believe I had to push outward with my tongue to assure proper fit. BUT, now fits perfectly and likes to stay put. Bumped to 4 stars as I think the instructions should ward on shrinking or having to leave in your mouth a lot longer than directions said.

I followed the instructions and it works great. I have made 20 dives with it so far and it stays in my mouth with very little effort. It really reduces jaw fatigue. I did have to readjust it a couple times to get the fit from rubbing my gums but once fit it works flawlessly.

I have gone through many mouthpieces for my BCD's and Snorkels. I was hesitant about this purchase bceause of the price but I'm SOOOOO happy i did. I always have painful jaw after diving and when you are at an all inclusive the only way to remedy that is more liquor ;) but really, it makes it painful to even eat so i'm proud I took the plunge and bought this for myself and my husband.The Colors were good because since my husband and and I have same equipment i can quickly differentiate which is mine (PINK) and his (BLACK)PROS:1. after custom fit, it feels AMAZING!!2. bright color is good3. silicone is good quality4. Can be reformed later in case your teeth change etc (this is a great thing)CONS:1. price (but this sooo takes a backseat to the pros)2. No more in my opinion
