This little sweater top was just perfect. It’s not very thick, it’s soft, and it has a nice fit. It has some stretch so it shapes well. Love it.

Not ballet pink. This is a bright bubblegum pink. If your studio has a dress code, this will not pass.

It fit my daughter as expected and has held up several washes on gentle cycle and air drying. My daughter says it keeps her warm during dance classes but doesn’t overheat her.

I bought this for my daughter to wear at her ballet lessons when it is chilly. She loves it. I gave it 4 stars because one of the seams on the sleeve cuff was coming undone on arrival, so I had to repair it.

I wasn’t sure which size to get as my daughter was between sizes. She’s 9, but generally wears 10-12 clothing because she is so tall. However, she is skinny, so many items are loose on her in width. For this sweater, I was hesitant to order the 8-10 because the 130 tag is generally too small for her in the length (arms, torso, legs, etc.) However, 140 could have worked in this case.So, I ordered the 10-12, knowing it might be big. As a sweater in general, it fits great. For dance, it’s a little big, but since it has the ribbing, it will still work just fine because it cinches tight there. I think she could have worn the 8-10 size for the chest/shoulders, but it may have been short in the arms. Either way, I think both sizes would have worked, but I’m glad I ordered the 10-12 size. When I received this sweater, there was no tag on it other than one that said “XXL.” I assume that is the 10-12 size. Not sure.***PROS:—1) Fits well and is comfortable. (I already elaborated on the fit at the beginning of my review, so I won’t add to that.)—2) Love the design - V-neck, ribbing, etc. It is a thin sweater, so great for dance class. However, it is still warm.—3) Washes well. I know that the listing says to hand wash only, but I figured I could take a chance, since it was a little big in her chest/waist area. I washed it in the washing machine (cold water only) and dried it in the dryer on low heat. I think it may have shrunk a little bit, but I’m okay with it because it was a little loose to begin with. I will still continue to wash it in the washing machine, but will probably hang dry it from now on. If I do dry it, I may only do it one more time, if it shrinks. (I avoid hand washing whenever I can. Can you tell? lol)—4) Great stretch! It stretches a lot more than I expected. So, it is easy to put over the head and I know she will still be able to wear it for a long time.Overall, I’m glad I ordered the size I did. It absolutely works now for dance class, but will become more snug and form-fitting as she grows. She will be able to use this for a long time. And, she can wear it as regular clothing as well.

This is a great ballet sweater for your little child. The ends of the sweater are ribbed which adds a unique style to the sweater. The sweater is also warm enough to keep your child from being cold but at the same time isn't thick enough where your child will be sweating! Great v-neck design at the top which gives your child room to breathe!
