So if you want your stick to never be damage than this is definitely the item for you. If you also want To get a good workout this is the item for you because it is seriously heavy. It’s feels like you have a 5 pound weight at the end of your stick. I will be ordering a plastic one that is lighter weight.

This device is to heavy to even stick handle with, doesn't help in anyway, a total waste of money in my opinion.

Item is durable, but unfortunately I had to return as the weight from the metal caused for the product to come off the stick even when tapped. Works great for stick handling, but would not shoot at it. Definitely going to try the plastic version!

Have 3/5 stars because I used the metal wrap around 4 times and durability is an issue considering price.I used this on my P28M blade. Install was easy. It will put superficial scratches on carbon.The stick feels like a war ax in terms of feel. The hockey tape doesn’t help. But once it wears out not bad.I’d recommend this for a training tool if it lasted longer or was at a better price point. Also consider a blade with less curve would increase durability?

The piece is useful to protect the stick, and as far as that goes it does the job. However, you really should not shoot at all with this. The packaging tells you as much, and you should follow that indication. Mine actually snapped after merely three non-consecutive hours of use.I also use the other, plastic, model which is much better, more resistant, and cheaper. Get that. Don't get this.

This product is horrible!! Stay away. It ruins the blade on your stick. I had a brand new ice hockey stick and was excited to use this wrap around to practice off the ice. All it did was scratch up my blade.

it will add weightt to your stick and will need to be taped on heavily but it will protect blade although the blade wil not feel as natural as it would without it but it will protect your stick

Received this on 6/6/16. Watched the video to make sure it was put on correctly. Worked great for a week then broke in multiple places. My son contacted the company and received a replacement. He has had the replacement for less than a month - only used a few times. Today it broke in multiple spots. Very disappointed for the price.
