I got this as a gift for my partner, and she loves it. It keeps everything sturdy and the base doesn’t move at all. I had to also get a cloth like mat because our floors are cement and it holds well.

if you have a drum rug that has a loose fabric for this to latch on to it will keep your kick drum in place as well as a cinderblock in front of each leg. placing this in from of the kick rim is safe as the softness of the block keeps it from scarring the drum and the amount of velcro on the bottom locks it in place without issuenext up is to buy the smaller one to keep my hat stand in place from the left foot slamming it :)

Product works as described but after some uses the Velcro moved from the original area not sure if it was defective but still works somewhat…

I bought a Roland E kit and the kick trigger didn’t stick to the carpet good enough to stop the crawl. Then I got this mofo. It is cheap and it freaking works. Buy it. Do it. Do it.

I wasn’t sure this would work for how hard I hit my kick drum but it has been a week now and I haven’t had to adjust my bass drum once. It makes the biggest difference in practicing when you don’t have to get up and adjust the whole kit every 5 minutes or less. I’m sure I’ll end up buying the ones for pedals too. Thank you to the creator of this. Simple and functional.

I was going to buy a bag of lead weights to stop my e-drum kick from sliding, when I happened upon the KickBlock. I decided to give it a try since I like supporting small businesses. When I opened the package, I was greeted with a signed message from the creator telling me he hopes I enjoy and to contact him if I have any questions or concerns. Despite not having any problems, I sent him a quick message anyway to tell him how well the KickBlock worked. I had to turn it sideways to keep my electric kick from digging into the foam, but once I figured that out, it made an extraordinary difference. I played for a couple of hours and put some tape down to measure any movement, and it didn't move an inch. I would highly recommend the KickBlock.

I just received my KickBlock and I haven't had a chance to use it in live setting, but I did put it in front of my kit and hit the crap out of my kick, and I can tell you it is a very well-made product that does what it says it will do.I made a chock for my drum rug last year and it works great. The KickBlock isn't going to replace that, but what it will do is stay in my cymbal bag for emergency situations, i.e., when I do not play my drums, don't bring my rug, or the rug provided is less than stellar.Overall I'm happy with this product and think it will be a great addition to my "in case of emergency" stuff. Get one if you play a lot of house kits that slide on you or if you kick it like Bonham.
