Florida State Champion Scott Ellis has built this call for Woodhaven to bring some excitement to their new energy series. This 3.0 reed "V" or Vyper cut is high pitched and has a very sharp bite to it for super raspy yelps and cuts. This call produces the raspy yelps and cuts of an old lady hen and is great for cutting, cackles, and cluck'n purrs! Put some energy into your calling and bring more call shy gobblers into range with the new Scott Ellis Signature Series call from Woodhaven Custom Calls.

This is one of the best diaphragm Turkey calls I’ve ever had ….. and I was suspect with the very low price. It’s easy to call with a lot of variety.

I have used many mouth calls over the years to produce sounds loosely resembling hen turkeys. This call changed my game dramatically. It allowed me to dramatically improve upon all of my calls including purrs, yelps, cuts and cackles. It has great rasp and was instrumental to me calling in gobblers from Kansas, Arizona and Texas in one spring. I filled all of my tags in three states with this call. THIS IS A GREAT CALL!

By far the easiest call to run both quiet, clean tree yelps and clucking all the way to the loud cutting and yelping. The yelps sound absolutely deadly! Such great built in rasp. I have purchased 4-5 different calls from Wood Haven. By far the toxic orange ghost cut for kee kee runs and this call for everything else is my favorite and fit me the best. Fantastic job on this call Wood Haven.

Nothing against the product. I'm just a woman feeding our wild turkeys. I thought it would be "fun" to call them, instead of trying to gobble on my own. I thought the product was a "horn." I watched the video on you tube, which was great, but there is no way I'll ever master the technique of using the device. I will pass it on and continue to feed the turkeys and hope they just respond to my amateur friendly calls. Sincerely, Judy Creede

Amazing call, my first Reed call. Got mixed advice from others who claimed reeds "suck", hard to use etc. Admittedly there is a learning curve, but if you treat this Reed for what it is, a musical instrument, its absolutely fantastic. Took some time to figure out mouth placement but I can cut and cackle as good as most boxes out there

My instant impression from initial sound that came from it sounded extremely high pitched and shrill. Three minutes later with a little experimenting, and I am convinced this is the best, most versatile call I've tried. Very easy to go high-low, loud or soft. Amazing cuts and raspy yelps with less effort than most.

Fantastic call and diabolically raspy. Took be a bit to get used to it and find the sweet spot, but worth the patience and practice. I use this call and the Woodhaven Black Wasp as my two "go to" calls now. Don't need anything else besides my Woodhaven cherry classic crystal. Just had the best turkey season ever and nailed my biggest tom every.
