Woodhaven makes amazing, instrumental calls that I've always enjoyed playing. However, pass this one by. Craftsmanship is overwhelmingly trumped by the branding. Does it look awesome, streamlined and accesorized? You betcha: there's your 1 Star. Should you pay premium price when the reed shows, defines and becomes etched by the unsanded mouthpiece? That's the buyer's discretion. If you're lookin for aesthetics and performance in this category of call, buy one from Hook's and you'll even save a few bucks too. Otherwise, it's hard to beat a girthy pill bottle and latex glove.
