It's so easy to knock sunglasses off of this. Not functional. Hate it

I've been trying to figure out how to contain & store my multiple pairs of sunglasses, so when I saw this, the concept seemed to be what I was looking for- it keeps them within easy reach too. This was easy to put together- you'll want to grab a phillips screwdriver for the one screw that needs to be installed to connect the base to the vertical "spine". The slender wood crossbars are easy enough to stick in, but they should be glued in, because some are fairly loose. (I plan to do that with mine.) The other thing is that these skinny bars are slippery- it doesn't take much for glasses to be bumped off, possibly causing damage to them. Each bar at the front has a slight indentation carved into it to hold the bridge of the glasses, but it's just barely there- it should be much deeper. This basic design would be far better if the bars were wider & especially if they were covered with something that has a cushioned soft texture to help keep glasses from slipping off. I'll probably be giving this thing a makeover. Or maybe I'll just start from scratch...sigh.
