Like others have mentioned, the nut will not hold torque. I dont see sheared threads but when mounted on a handle bar there are only a couple threads engaged and no chance of them even getting a ‘snug’ torque. I contacted Wolf and told them they have a design issue with this part. They arrogantly told me it is an installer issue. I disagree. They are sending me a new nut. It will probably not be any better than the first.

Unfortunately this is not the quality you expect from Wolftooth, as everybody else threads stripped on the T-nut.

The picture shows the is-ev t-nut, the that goes underneath the brake clamp and where the adapter screws into is steel (silver). What came with mine was aluminum. With .05 fine thread pitch it easily stripped.

Bad product. Installed it and screw was not flush and end up stripping the female end mount that connects to ev brakes. Now its useless. Rather go with the bar clamp and it is way more adjustable than this mount…

I've been very happy with my WolfTooth components to date and ordered the is-EV conversion kit to clean up my cockpit a little. The part that arrived was cross-threaded right out of the bag and looked like it had already been installed/used/removed. I tossed it in a vise and cleaned up the threads to just get on with my life but for a 25 dollar part of this size I expect better.
