There were no instructions included, so I was unclear as to how to use the Unjamming Wrench.The included Allen Wrench and a lot of strength managed to get the job done.I will keep the Allen Wrench under my sink for use in the future.

The one that went through the top just couldn’t do the job but the hex wrench had its work cut out for it because I’m guessing the metal thing it helped remove looked like maybe one of those flat batteries and it was stuck in there good. Lots of WD40 and then a good dose of liquid soap and as much muscle this old lady has finally broke it loose. It would have been impossible without this amazing, easy to use piece of equipment. Saved me from having to replace my garbage disposal. And it is strong and didn’t bend under the pressure.

I have to admit, I did not think it would work. I was looking at replacing my disposal because it had not worked in 5 years. I figured it was jammed somehow but could not figure out the problem so I had planned on finally replacing it. Then this tool popped up on my amazon page. I was skeptical but figured $10 would be all I lost if it did not work. My only complaint is there were no directions in the package. So I punted. I put the wrench in the disposal (try to put the ends into the middle of the parts that cut the food up) and tried to turn it and it moved a little bit at a time. Then I tried the wrench on the underside and it moved a lot, and then it was spinning around effortlessly. I started the water, Turned it on and WOW! I saved over $200 because the one I already had worked great again!!I discovered one of little spreaders you can use for cheeses, must have jammed and froze it. (Picture attached). One of my most prized purchases on amazon ever!

When I bought my house the garbage disposal was one of the things that didn’t work. Had a plumber in fixing a couple things and was told it was completely frozen and locked up and we’d probably just need to replace it completely. But after seeing the “quality” of work from a lot of “professionals” these days I figured I’d make sure before doing that. Watched a couple YouTube videos and ordered this. Once I got it, it took about 30 minutes to get the disposal working. I did have to really crank on it, and the tool held up fine. Definitely recommend!
