Does fit a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Was what I wanted and expected. Fits perfectly for this car and cost less than a regular part store.

This filter not for 2007 Saturn Ion - the Filter/strainer located in Fuel tank, part of fuel pump assembly.

First-time fuel filter change for me for a fuel injected engine. You Tube videos helped.I used zip ties to secure to the filter to the holder since, either a mechanic broke the existing plastic strap during earlier changes, or it broke on its own.

Sadly fuel filters tend to get over looked in maintenance. It is important to have a clean fuel filter! Cheap maintenance and worth the time! I had 100k miles on my 08 chevy cobalt and i was amazed at the amount of black junk that fell out when i took this filter off! Was definitely due! I love Wix filters and use them when possible.
