Big fan of wix air filters. Decided to give this a go. I can’t say weather the filter is working or not. I suspect it’s doing fine. No issues shown up with the transmission in 5k miles. HOWEVER; the gasket that comes with this filter for the pan, is leaking already. I very carefully installed it and torqued all the bolts in the correct pattern to the correct torque spec but already it has failed. I will be dropping the pan and installing an OEM Toyota gasket. Not the end of the world, but a pain. Next time, I will get an OEM gasket even if I use this kit again. Not worth installing the provided one just to have to remove and replace it again.

Amazon stated it would fit my 2005 Pontiac Vibe 1.8L 2WD. However it is the wrong filter and gasket. I ordered this filter knowing I would to this job shortly. Unfortunately I took too long and now the return window has closed (missed it by 10 days), that's on me. Lesson for future, check your parts before your 30 days are up.That being said the quality is bar none with WIX filters. And as some have asked, yes it does come with gasket. It was not a cheap paper fiber one, it was a thick rubber style one. Nice quality.

This wix filter fit my 2017 yaris perfect. Just so you know, if your doing this on really any car. When you pull the filter. Additional fluid comes out. So the specs you have for a simple " drain and refill" won't be accurate. My car calls for 2.6 quarts for a drain and fill. But I also did the filter. It actually ended up taking just over 3 quarts. Like a hair over 3 quarts to bring it between the 2 hot Mark's on the dipstick. So don't be confused if you put in the right amount and your short. That only works if you literally DRAIN and FILL. that doesn't account for removing the filter. I used Amsoil OE 100% synthetic transmission fluid in mine. It shifts better than did before. You don't have to use genuine Toyota WS. Any transmission fluid that's compatible with WS is fine to use. I ONLY!!! Run Amsoil in my transmissions. Never had a problem. I have it in my mom's 2004 Toyota Camry, in my sister's 2006 Camry, my dad had it in his 2008 toyota highlander. Never had a problem.

Great price for filter and comes with new gasket. Only gripe is that the bolt holes on the gasket are bigger than the bolts, so you cant use the bolts to hold the gasket in place while installing. If you've installed transmission pan gaskets before, you know what I'm talking about. This was a little bit of a pain to line up the gasket with all the holes while installing. But you can't beat the price for a Wix filter and prime shipping!

Fit my 2008 Toyota Yaris Automatic 1.5L perfectly. I was a bit skeptical that the gasket was correct until I got under the car and wala it was a perfect match. The old fluid wasn't burnt but was just getting to the state where it needed to be changed. 170k miles in total. The fluid pan had a good mm or two of metal shavings on the magnets. Cleaned those off along with all of the fluid pan.Needed more than 3qts of fluid for the change with the filter unlike the manual that states it only needs 2.6 with a fluid change. Was in for a bit of a surprise, so I had to make a quick run to the store. Make sure you buy 4qts to get the correct amount. I used two empty gallon jugs for judging how much fluid I needed to put into the car to replace what was in it. One was for the old fluid and I had the other jug that I poured the new fluid into, to an even level as the drained amount. Pretty easy to do with ramps, just takes some patience. A long skinny funnel is also needed.No leaks on it as of now, will be checking regularly. Will update if a leak shows up.
