Unusually thick gasket on this guy. I hand tightened it as hard as I could, well beyond the typical "half turn past contact," and it still started leaking as soon as I started working the hydraulics on the tractor.If you pick this up instead of an OEM filter, use a strap wrench and tighten the everloving daylights out of it.

As reported by others - lasted less than a week on my Kubota GR2120 before the sealing gasket blew out. Left a trail of hydraulic fluid down the driveway and killed a large patch of lawn. I have used WIX filters for years without issue.....I am very surprised and disappointed by the current lack of quality control.

I have purchased Wix filters for everything. I used this filter for my HST on my Ford 1215. I am not sure if I got a defective unit, but the rubber gasket did not seal properly (Yes, I did lubricate before installation) and spilled out on my floor when the machine was started. Gave 4 stars because I have never had an issue with a Wix filter before.
