This mic transmitter works awesome. I've been able to bring my shure sm-58 to family karaokes and it has worked wonderfully! I will say I hav't tested the range too much but it does fantastic from as far as 20 feet. I imagine it can probably go a bit further than that but I haven't had the need to. The sound quality is great but I probably would not do any recording with it as there will always be a slight degradation of sound compared to an actual XLR cable. All in all this wireless transmitter gets the job done!

I used this transmitter/receiver setup with one of my guitars. Sound quality was decent although I did detect a little bit of noise. But once I started playing the guitar you couldn't even hear the noise. The only two things I would say they could improve would be the following:1) Improve the transmission range. I only got about 10 ft away before dropouts started happening, which is fine for my application since I'm only using it to practice at home. But stage use could possibly see some challenges.2) They used USB-C on one unit in micro USB on the other unit, which means you have to use two separate cables, even though they provide the cables, it's still a pain in the neck. It needs to be unified as the modern USB-C on both devices.I have a more expensive professional transmitter/receiver setup that has all metal casing on both units and is definitely capable of longer range. With that being said, I would say this is more of a home use type setup.

Update: I have just tested the wireless kit with a Shure SM58 and Audio-Technica AT2020 (condenser) into my Zoom Q2n-4k video camera and Tascam DR-07 MKII audio recorder to hear the results of either of these wirelessly as external mics to substitute for the good microphones built into those devices. As my full review mentions, my only issue with the Zoom is that the distance from which I record videos of myself playing banjo puts the microphone several feet away, whereas close miking is the best way to record acoustic instruments. These tests revealed significant noise (static/hiss) that I did not hear in the amplifier test. While I could not hear the noise at all input levels on the Tascam recorder (monitoring in real-time in headphones) noise was present throughout the recording. Noise could not be heard over my banjo playing, but that's only slight consolation since I know the noise is there and so is having some effect on the recorded sound. Someone with better hearing than mine might notice something off. At the levels of voice-only where noise disappeared, the volume of my voice recording was too low. Again: that may be an issue of my impaired hearing. I'm listening in headphones without my hearing aids.I'm lowering the rating to three stars. For the time-being, I assume these are still OK for live sound. If I can do a test with a full PA set-up I'll report back.Original review follows:- - - - - - -This wireless transmitter+receiver set effectively turned my conventional cable-connected microphones into wireless mics.Everything about it was easy. That starts with charging. I have no idea why one piece uses USB-C and the other uses micro-USB. And I don't care. You get both cords.Next: Read the instructions so you know how to use the button on the transmitter to power it on, switch between instrument and mic mode, and turn phantom power on and off (for condenser mics). With both pieces charged, pairing was nearly instant. I only tested with microphones. First with an SM-58, then in phantom power mode with an AT-2020. Both sounded fine -- even though I was using only a 25 watt bass practice amp instead of my PA (which is torn down and stored).I'm happy with this so far.I'll update this review after I test the condenser mic and wireless set with my Zoom Q2n-4K video camera. For that, I need an adapter to plug the receiver into the camera's 3.5mm external mic jack.

I connect to shure sm58, the sound quality similar as a ~$25 wireless microphone system, with notable noise.

This transmitter set works excellent without delay. My only gripe and why I docked a star is becuase both the transmitter and receiver each have a different charger port. Why? One uses type C and the other is micro USB. Granted they provided a cabled with both ends but that is very uncalled for. I've been trying to get all my electronics to be Type C, eliminating the micro cable. Other than that downfall, this is a great choice and works flawlessly.

This wireless mike adapter works great! Much cheaper than most wireless systems. I use it with a Shure SM58 mike into Carvin PA and it sounds perfect. No noticeable coloring or latency in the signal. If you're needing an inexpensive way to convert you favorite mike to wireless, you might try this. Not sure of the total range, but had no issues at about 25 feet. I like that it's rechargeable and doesn't require batteries. Good value!

Very easy to charge. Pairs automatically. Works without any significance latency. Downside is that distance is good for about for only about 6-8 feet before any cutout/connectivity issues. Fortunately I am using this in a practise environment so it will still come in handy.
