These spikes fit the standard flare nut and look great once installed. Compared to the stock screws that require a Phillips head screwdriver, these can be hand tightened. Since they are a little longer than stock, I paired them with flare nuts that are also a 1/4" longer. All-in-all I am very happy with the way they look on my bike. I have had zero issues with them.For those that get them, I do not recommend using a socket wrench or regular wrench on these even though they have hex style bodies that would allow it. The flare nuts only need to be hand tight and its fairly easy to over tighten them if using a wrench or socket. If you over tighten the nut and the copper breaks free in the plastic, then the nut if effectively useless at that point for securing your windshield.

So, I actually ordered these for my nephew who likes to make studded and spiked leather apparel. He likes to use ‘found’ or alternative option to offset the apparel material costs.So I found these and thought they would be worth a shot. He loved them! They do have a little bit longer screw end, but depending on the apparel you have or your ability to cut it down, these worked great. Especially having the little padded washers to protect the leather.Obviously this review is not for the intent of the spikes, the units themselves are high quality and they look really nice. They are not all silver, but the black with silver highlights looks pretty tough.

Looks Cool, But Missing Key PartsI was excited to add these spiked bolts to my Harley Low Rider S to give the front end a more aggressive look. The spikes themselves look awesome and would definitely spruce up the bike's appearance. Unfortunately, the bolts didn’t come with the necessary nuts to hold them in place. My existing nuts don’t fit, so I can’t even install them. It’s frustrating to have a product that’s almost perfect but can’t be used right out of the box. If you decide to buy these, be prepared to hunt down the right hardware.
