Our shutters needed to repainted and removing them destroyed the shutter pins. These painted up nicely and worked well when rehanging them. My only complaint would be that the molding seam was very visible on the top of the pin. I won't know how well they hold up paint wise until they have been up a bit longer. It was nice to have a paintable pin that I could match to my shutters since I changed their color.

The shutter loks came in and are of great quality. I received them within days and was very pleased with the company. We are repairing our existing shutters and needed to replace the pin loks for them. These are wonderful and can be painted. Plus I was able to buy them all in one package instead of by 6 or 12. Very pleased. Would definitely order fromt his company again.

We put pegs, which were light grey. In holes we poked in a box and painted them to match our shutters.

These definitely work! Just some advice:They don't take paint all that well. Definitely sand and/or prime them first unless you want to do a lot of touching up after you hammer them into place, even if you use something to cushion them from the hammer face.They're stiffer than the ones you find at Home Depot. This is mostly fine, but they did seem more likely to have the head snap off when dealing with a stubborn hole.
