It works great, not sure how long its going to last though because the one that came with the door got brittle and started snapping off. This one is just a 1 ply and is thinner than the old one so we’ll see. I wish it came with a template that gave the correct 45 deg angle for my corner cuts. As you can see in the picture the bottom right corner was trimmed with too much of an angle

I tried to use these strips on my windows and they just didn't work. I missed the return window sadly so hope this will help any future buyers when choosing your order.

Storm company wanted to charge $120-$150 per window after bead was damaged by hail. I tried some cheaper by foot price ones from Zoro and they were so flimsy they wouldn’t stay. These are perfect. Despite seeming expensive, they are still about $1-$3 per foot cheaper than local window companies would sell to me. Cuts super easy with tin snips or sharp kitchen shears.

I recently suffered a hail storm which broke many of the decades old snap-in glazing strips in the bottom of my windows. The seller did an outstanding job of protecting these strips from getting deformed during shipping by placing these in a heavy cardboard tube. These can easily be trimmed to fit with a pair of tin snips or even a good pair of scissors. My windows require the ends to be trimmed at a 45 degree angle so I bought these 36 inch length pieces to fit a 32 inch wide window.
