Great for practicing and protection before you get the real thing.

Only dislike is the magazine. For some reason the magazine catch isn't very firm and just brushing it releases the magazine.. Also should be packaged with a spare magazine, Otherwise it functions perfectly. I highly recommend this as it feels exactly like my real Colt Model 1911 and is fun to shoot.

Just a note of clarification before I go into my review; this is not, strictly speaking, a replica 1911 airgun. There are a few glaring differences. That said, it is a great value for the price, if you are a fan of 1911s because the form and blowback are close to a real 1911, but not quite there, and the weight is pretty close to a replica.Physical Differences: The blowback on the Model 11 is shorter than a replica 1911 and the slide resistance feels rather weak when the slide is pulled back. The ammo magazine is a ‘stick’, plastic insert. The actual physical take-down is not even close to a replica. One screw on top of the slide holds it in place. The cartridge loading is very unusual and physical cartridge requirements are somewhat different ( a smaller cartridge is advisable – see below). What Others Should Know: I corrected the weak slide operation by disassembling the slide and lubricating all elements that are touched by the slide internally with a light coating of a Molly lubricant. This vastly improved the slide action greatly. The cartridge piercing mechanism is a lever action and works well but only with slightly shorter cartridges. I tried Umarex (Sig Sauer), Daisy and Crossman cartridges and found that I could get the Crossman cartridges pierced with the lever mechanism but it required a great deal of force to do that, which may damage the seals if used repeatedly. Measurements: Crossman: 83mm, Daisy: 82.7mm, Umarex: 82.5mm. The Crossman cartridges are about .5 to .3mm too long and take up a little too much of the space available for the lever to work without force. The fit is tight enough that a screwdriver or some other pry device is needed to remove the cartridge.Shootng Performance: I ran three clips of BBs through the Winchester, two of which were using the Daisy cartridge and one using the Umarex cartridge for comparison, using a Caldwell Chrony. Five shot groups were fired for the measurement strings (just like the vendors :-). Used a new cartridge for each string.Daisy 1: Hi: 391 fps, Lo: 378 fps, Average: 385 fps, SD: 5.17.Daisy 2: Hi: 396 fps, Lo: 375 fps, Average: 385 fps, SD: 7.64.Umarex: Hi: 399 fps, Lo: 380 fps, Average: 390.4, SD: 8.68.Performance is about average for a blowback pistol. It took careful aiming to keep 2/3rds to 3/4ths of my shots inside a 2” circle at about 15 feet. The Winchester consistently shot low and to the right. To be fair, lubricating the slide made the blowback quicker and more solid, which may have decreased the amount of C02 release time. An out-of-the-box test may have come closer to the manufacturer’s spec of 410 fps.Closing: The weight and feel of this Model 11 make it a pretty good sub for a replica 1911 at a slightly lower cost than others. If you are on a tight budget, this is a pretty good deal. However, if you can afford it, check out Tanfoglio, Springfield Armory, Umarex Colt, and others on the market.

Grate addition to my collection the only thing I didn’t like was the white Winchester on the slide isn’t there like in the picture. I already have the daisy model 11a which is the same exact gun it just don’t say Winchester on the slide. But whatever I just did a barrel swap with the Crome one from the sig spartan 1911 so they look a little bit different.

This gun is awesome. You get 4 solid clips out of 1 co2. It quits on the 5 clip but, the co2 doesn't seem to leak out. I got several guns and it's the only 1 that doesn't leak. Worth the money...
