About this item

  • Wilson 2024 A2000 M23SS 33.5” Baseball Catcher’s Mitt - Right Hand Throw
  • Pro Stock Leather: Pro Stock Leather is preferred for its rugged durability and unmatched feel; SuperSnakeSkin: SuperSnakeSkin is a microfiber material that’s half the weight of Pro Stock Leather, but twice as durable - in an all-new textured design. Its moisture-resistance extends the longevity of the glove, and is easier to clean than traditional leather.
  • Flat Finger Binding: Flat Finger Binding gives players who prefer to play with a finger outside the glove greater comfort and control in the field. By reducing the amount of space between your finger and the back of the glove, you’ll experience less pain when making plays
  • DriLex Wrist Lining: Keeps your hand dry and comfortable on the field and behind the dish
  • Bold Logos: Bold logos strip away the distractions, allowing outlined, eye-catching Wilson logos to announce a new era in the iconic story of Wilson Ball Gloves.

My son loves this new mitt. He used to complain about the padding in his old mitt but this one is more comfy and protective!

Takes some time to break in, but that's normal since it's a catcher's mitt. Superb build quality, awesome to play with.

How can you expect all-star performance with substandard gear? This is all-star gear.

Don't buy into the considerable hype about Wilson A2000 gloves. My son is almost 16, and too many kids want an A2000 to be like the pros and look cool. However, Wilson uses leather that is so hard that it takes literally years to break a glove in properly. In the meantime, balls hit these gloves and bounce right back out. This is is our 2nd A2000 glove (an infielder's glove and a catcher's mitt), and we have done everything imaginable to make them malleable enough to play in real games. This includes several rounds of professional services to soften them up. Pounding, steaming and leather conditioners just don't do the trick. I wish I had my money back for both gloves (is anyone from Wilson listening?) Ultimately, a glove isn't about vanity, it's about catching balls. If you are searching for the best high-end catcher's mitt for a reasonable prices, try the 2-tone (black and tan) Shoeless Joe mitt -- it's the coolest-looking and easiest catcher's mitt to break in and use on the market. And it catches every ball. Isn't that the point of this exercise?
