Since 1999, American artist Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with DEMDACO to produce, market and distribute Willow Tree , her line of carved figurative sculpture. From her studio in Kansas City, Lordi hand carves the original of each figure. This piece is cast from Lordi's original and painted by hand. Enclosed inside each fitted packaging box is a gift-giving card with piece title and sentiment on it. Each piece is intended to be open to interpretation from the viewer. Die Figuren sind doppelt bis dreimal so groß, wie ich es erwartet habe. Meine Figuren der hl. Familie waren dazu viel zu klein.Die Farbe der Figuren entspricht nicht dem Foto, waren viel zu braun.Details sind, wie immer, sehr schön ausgearbeitet.Gind somit zurück.

Looks much better in person. Simple. No crazy contast of colors. Goes perfectly with the large nativity set. There a sense of calm with these animals. Beautiful pieces. Wish there were more assortments for these.

We received the large nativity as a gift, but they accidentally ordered the smaller animals. The small ones work great with my smaller nativities but looked much too small with the large Nativity. I ordered these that are made for the large set and love them.

I was very happy with my order of Willow Tree Nativity animal set. The donkey and sheep figures are a nice heavy weight excellent touches of detail and the sizes goes great with my other pieces.

First off, make sure you read and understand the product description. These three animals are for the larger sized nativity set known as "The Christmas Story". They are too big for the "Nativity" set. I gave this set 5 stairs for product. But I need to qualify some issues I had in receiving this order. My original product had a damaged donkey back with a large hole. The subsequent replacement set came only to have a different animal damaged. This time the lying lamb had a broken ear. I simply exchanged the broken one with the good one from the original order. Thus when I send back the original box it will now have two damaged figurines. Nonetheless the three good ones that I now have are very nice......but now I am having to get the larger Joseph/Mary with baby Jesus figures as I goofed when I originally ordered this product. I am also adding to the Nativity set as well......whew.......
