Very Pleasantly Surprised. I had been trying to piece-part a gold tremolo bridge together for an ongoing Strat project. As everyone (now myself included) knows that what is 'Standard' only gets you in the ballpark for fitting together the base plate, saddles and 2 or 6pt bridges such that everything (string spacing through Tremolo (Whammy) bar fittings. This bridge dropped in nicely. I am not sure of the tuning stability or long-term performance. But for now I'm a Happy Camper and can move on. Oh, and Amazon did their magic and it arrived at around 7am this morning !! Thank You.

Bof bof vraiment bofje reste assez dubitatif... ce Chevalet est moins bien fini que celui de ma STRAT d'origine, en gain de sustain ce n'est pas évident. Les pontets sont un peu mieux que les Fender d'origine mais c'est pas ça en terme de gain de son ... le vibrato...ne reste pas en place longtemps, même si tu serres la vis de réglage c'est pas précis et ça prend du jeu avec la pratique .... ça c'est vraiment nul

この手のパーツとしては安いのだろうが取り付けは程度スキルがいるしロック式じゃないからアーム使用時のチューニングの狂いは仕方ないのかな

Solid!! Good quality upgrade to most production trems. Only issue is that the holes for the saddle adjustment is quite low…adjustment screw gets in a slight bind with the higher 3 and 4 strings in the middle of the bridge. I ended up taking a small round file and giving the access hole a little “tilt” to it to ease setting the intonation. Not enough to warrant a bad review, I have purchased three of these now.

Looks beautiful, works pretty good, intonation usable. The bridge mounting bolts for the base did not fit. I would have had to pull the original mounting bases out of the strat body and place the Wilkinsons in for the Wilkinson screws/pivots to be placed. Not worth risking my Fender Professional Series looks. So I just used the Fender mounting base screws to stabilize it. Now I have silver screws on a gold base... not what I actually wanted. It works, though. Looks good from a distance.

The holes in the block where the strings come through aren't drilled in a straight line and don’t align with the holes in the metal plate. The high e hole is so off center I can’t string my guitar until I get a new trem block. Do yourself a favor- definitely pass on this one.

This thing fit my Squier Affinity Jazzmaster (it has a strat style trem) perfectly. Dealt with other of these Musiclily tremolos before and had issues like the way the tremolo arm attached would quickly become loose after some usage and be unable to retighten it, or an incorrect fit with the guitar. Or with one of them the space where the tremolo arm meets the bridge would get in the way of playing.This bridge is near perfect. Installation was virtually a drop in, the block is the right length if you have one of the thinner body styles. It intonates fine, no issues there. And my god the fit of the arm to the bridge is incredible. If you want it to stay where it is, just tighten the screw a bit. If you want it to drop just loosen it a bit. This thing has not lost any of its grip over the year or so that I've used it which is incredible. I haven't once had to go in and tighten the arm.If there is any complaint its the position of that tightening screw is in a little bit of an inconvenient spot. You pretty much just have to yam the tremolo down and shimmy an allen key in as it pops up. But for $35 or whatever this thing costs I mean, can you do better? I don't think so. The construction feels good, the edges are rounded off, it fits right. Why spend so much on hardware? No really, I get that aesthetics are important and if they are for you, go for it. But if you're on this page it means you're seeking a good deal and brother this is one.

Got this today and installed it on a strat build, for the most part I like it and it resolved intonation issues I was having.I also wanted to block the strat; so with the additional springs I blocked it without having to use a wood block. Total five springs, tightened claw.It's very stable and well tuned.One thing that's a tradeoff. I lost my sparkly highs (brightness), but gained a richer tone. To explain it, I would say it got darker.Overall, pleased. For the price it's a win.PS: I used the existing post, as I would have had to pull the the studs to install the studs that came with it which have a larger diameter post. They wouldn't screw into the existing studs which were smaller in diameter. Sorry for the redundancy, but just to make it clear.

I just built a Stratovarius guitar and wanted to build it with absolutely no Fender parts. I also wanted to build a high quality guitar as cheaply as possible. This bridge is awesome. It's made of thick, rounded metal and the block is full sized. It's also a Fender American spec'd bridge with proper string spacing for an American Strat.About the only thing that could be better is if the block was brass. Since that's not necessary, I'm not worried about it.If you are looking for an American spec'd tremolo bridge then this is a great one to choose. It's pretty too!
