My first wireless Nunchuk holder and makes me wonder,Why Nintendo didn't go down this path from the start?.I haven't tried them out on all my games yet but right now I'm using this to play Samurai Warriors and they work perfectly. My personal criticism is that,Nyko's own Kama(Nunchuk) doesn't fit in this holder. If your looking for cord free playing and don't fancy paying high price for a wireless Nunchuk, then this is for you.

The product does work as described, however there is something to consider that has no been addressed that I feel made a huge difference in my decision to keep these. I ordered two of these, having only two Wii Remotes and two nunchuck controller. However, I recently upgraded from the Wii to the Wii U. Also consider that one of my remotes is a Wii Remote Plus. So with all of this in mind, here is what I have discovered about these products.1. On the Wii, they work great for games that require nothing from the built Nunchuck gyroscope. This was tested on games like Metroid Prime Trilogy that only use the analog and buttons on the nunchuck. If you all you have is games like that then this is a great product to keep your nunchuck cords from fraying.2. On regular Wii games like Twilight Princess or MadWorld or Wii Fit Plus that make use of the gyroscope of the nunchuck, there is a delay that is highly noticeable. A lot of times, especially in Twilight Princess, I would have to shake harder than usual and only in a certain direction in order to get a response. This is not acceptable to me when it comes down to split second timing but otherwise I can work past this issue since not many titles use the nunchuck gyroscope. This is just something I thought I would bring up for those who are looking for an honest opinion about the product.3. Having one remote that is a Wii Remote Plus, I figured this accessory would work for it since it is built in as opposed to the Wii Motion Plus accessory that attaches to a Wii Remote. However, trying to play Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword it doesn't register at all with the attachment. Plus having a Wii U, it REQUIRES Wii Motion Plus or Wii Remote Plus for most of its Wii Remote functionality in games like Nintendo Land for example. So, now knowing this, these wireless nunchuck adapters have now been rendered completely useless to someone like me. Again, just information being put out there and I could still use them for my regular Wii games but considering the future and that many future Wii U games may in fact require Wii Motion Plus, I will likely never use these and winding and unwinding them just to switch is too much trouble than it's worth to me.All in all, I would still recommend these depending on what the owner was looking for. Playing regular Wii games, it certainly helps to not have a cord in the way and having it stand on its own is also a plus. But if someone had games that required a Wii Motion Plus I would say avoid it. It really comes down to what you are looking to do, but they are not what I thought they would be because I was under the impression that they would work with Wii Remote Plus.

This thing is absolutely the biggest piece of junk ever. I bought it for the "EA Active" workout, b/c I was tired of smacking myself in the face with the nunchuck cord. Well, first of all, the big, clunky thing that the nunchuck cord wraps around makes it too unwieldy to use the nunchuck effectively in the leg strap. Secondly, the adapter that plugs into the Wii remote is too loose, so you have to stop and reconnect it at least once during every exercise. It will cost too much to ship the thing back to make it worth it, so I'm stuck with it now.

I read as many reviews as I could before purchasing this product. I wanted it to play EA Active because even though I'm not extremely tall (5'10"), Nintendo and EA did not take this into account when making the controllers and the game.Playing EA Active was turning out to be rather cumbersome with the corded nunchuck because while performing certain exercises I would whack myself in the face and throat or get tangled with the remote cord. Others could not be done properly because of the cord length and was awkward and cumbersome when trying to use dumbbells or exercise bands. I spent too much time pausing during and between exercises to adjust the cord so I did not feel I was getting a real workout.PackagingThe package comes with the wireless adapter that has a cradle to put the nunchuck into, the wireless receiver that plugs into the remote and a pair of AAA batteries. The cord wraps around quite nicely into the shroud at the base. I didn't get it to look like the pic but it was still pretty impressive that the entire cord fit in there. The cradle and the batteries add some nice weight to the nunchuck, it actually feels better than the nunchuck by itself. It's not that big, at least for me and fits quite nicely into the leg strap and does not feel uncomfortable.Connecting the wireless adapter onto the remote was easy. I have the silicone covers for my remotes and thought the best fit would be with the one that came with the motion plus. It was actually a little too small with plenty of space at the top and bottom so I put it in the regular cover and although you have to stretch it a bit to get it to fit, you do not have to apply too much force. It fits nicely and the cover does not feel like it is being over stretched. On to the gameplay. The nunchuck fit perfectly into the leg strap. It may look bulky but at least for me it was fine and had no problems performing the exercises. There was no noticeable lag when doing motions like squats, lunges, bicep curls or shoulder presses. I actually felt that I was finally getting the full workout. With the corded nunchuck I would get many warnings from the game that I was not still, had not performed the exercise correctly and it would only add to my frustration to repeat the move over and over again and not get any response from the game. With the wireless nunchuck these problems virtually disappeared. I did get a few warnings to hold still and not shake. One time the game kept my avatar's left arm held up after performing a shoulder press and would not come down no matter where I moved the nunchuck. I turned the nunchuck adapter off and on and the rest of the routine went on with barely a hitch. I was able to perform all the exercises with my full range of motion and what a difference it made. Not once did I loose communication of sense any lag.The controller itself has a blue light on the on the top right corner of the base and the wireless receiver for the remote also has a blue light. Both light up and continue to blink to indicate they are connected. The light on the receiver is OK but I find the one on the adapter is bright, very bright. While playing EA Active this is not a problem but while holding it like I would for a normal game this bright flashing was a little distracting and even annoying. Nothing a little electric tape can't cover up. It would have been nice if Nyko would have made the light solid or dimmer when the connection was made.Overall it has met all my expectations. I will provide more updates as time goes by. It might work OK for regular games like Super Mario Galaxy or Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, but the real test would be with games like Bully, Mad World or Punch-out that require quick responses from you an the controller. For a wireless solution for EA this thing fits the bill without breaking the bank. Plus the nunchuck looks nice and neat since you can just place it standing next to your remotes without having the cords trailing around.
