Works great with Alexa voice commands through a Bluetooth connection. Set up was a little confusing at first, but I was able to find the volume and channel controls already pre setup for my TV. I like that you can teach the blaster to function like your remote, but I haven't done it yet. The controls I found work for my channels, volume and power but I would eventually like to teach it to control the mute and other buttons on my remote. I was also able to program the blaster to control my surround sound. I found out that it won't control my dish TV box because that has a uhf signal. This only controls devices with an IR signal

This appears to still be one of the vulnerable devices to tuya-convert, thankfully. Was able to flash with Tasmota.. but remains to be seen how good the actual device is :) .

My experience with the RF blaster has been incredibly frustrating, leading to a regrettable one-star rating. Despite numerous attempts, I was unable to get the device to work as intended, resulting in a complete waste of time and money.Firstly, the setup process for the RF blaster was overly complicated and poorly documented. Despite following the instructions meticulously, I encountered numerous errors and roadblocks that prevented me from successfully configuring the device. The lack of clear guidance or troubleshooting support only compounded the frustration, leaving me feeling thoroughly exasperated.Additionally, even after investing significant time and effort into troubleshooting, I was unable to achieve any meaningful functionality with the RF blaster. It failed to detect or control any of my RF devices, rendering it essentially useless for its intended purpose. Whether it was due to compatibility issues, technical glitches, or inherent flaws in the device itself, I cannot say, but the end result was a complete lack of functionality and utility.Furthermore, the lack of customer support or assistance further exacerbated the issue. Despite reaching out to the manufacturer for help with troubleshooting, I received no response or assistance, leaving me stranded with a non-functional device and no recourse for resolution.In conclusion, the RF blaster has proven to be a disappointing and ineffective product in every respect. Its inability to function as advertised, coupled with the lack of support or recourse for resolution, make it a complete waste of money. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product to anyone and advise potential buyers to steer clear. Therefore, I have no choice but to give it a dismal one-star rating based on my overwhelmingly negative experience.

As stated, this device is very easy to setup via the smart app. Adding devices and using it are also as simple as pressing a button. Simple and intuitive.

I tried multiple times in multiple ways to link this up with Alexa and program in all the various IR devices around my house and it was just a tedious and fruitless effort. I also want to be clear and say that I just got too frustrated and sort of gave up on it, so I cannot say for sure that it does not work but only that I didn't think it was worth the time and effort to get it working.The other major problem is that it is not rechargeable so it has to be plugged in at all times, and given the fact that it needs a clear line of sight for the IR blaster signal to reach the device, you would need to have it elevated quite a bit and most outlets are too low for that to happen considering the cord is only 2 ft. long. You could definitely get a longer cord, but then you just have to worry about It not looking tacky dangling out. Another option is to use a battery bank to keep it powered, but it also doesn't draw a lot of power so most battery banks will not sense it for very long before turning off.The application necessary was a little sketch so I just used an old phone to try and set it up, but it definitely was not very user friendly no matter how you cut it. That said, the fact that I was using an old phone could be the problem, but I also am not willing to risk some unknown application being installed on my actual phone.I feel it would be unfair to give this any less than four stars solely because I personally was just not willing to put in the time and effort to troubleshoot the issues, so all I will say is that if you are looking to turn your remote controlled devices into smart devices that you better be willing to spend at least a few hours getting everything set up.

I really like the design of this smart IR device. It's continually smooth around the outside and is just a really clean look, and the chord is pretty slick by plugging into the base out of sight below the device.It's pretty easy to connect this to the Smart Life app (I just had to power it on and it recognized it as nearby immediately), and from there if you follow the steps posted online you can also get it connected to home assistant, which is my hub of choice. I didn't find any of my IR devices in the list of available manufacturers/products, but you're able to add any signals from your remotes by using custom modes and easily set them up by pointing your remote at the device, hitting buttons, and it detects the signals immediately.

Works great with our LG smart TV and my ancient Panasonic receiver. What's so great about it? No more fighting with my kids to turn the TV off. Alexa, turn the TV off. Done. Only drawback is that you will have to get a much longer power cord, but that's no big deal. I am going to get at least two more of these, A++++

This is the first device like this I ever owned and I gotta say "Color me impressed". I'm using this to control an old Samsung TV and soundbar and it functions perfectly. Getting the app was a little pain because I didn't know what to download, but after that, smooth sailing. I intergrated this into Alexa and now have two smart devices, Amazing! I can't give an actual comparison because this is the first time using somthing like this, but I gotta say I love it. I would highly recommend.
