It boosts the signal significantly. I tried it only on CB and 10 meter band. It is not easy to get a low noise power supply. I was using an old car battery, which is better than any other wall plug-in kind of supply, which is dirty, ( noisy inherently, but can improve it by using EMI chokes)The signal gets a strong boost, so long the ambient noise level is low, it works fine, boosts the sensitivity of my old all band radio.It supposedly works for the frequencies up to 3.5GHz, but I have not tried it yet.I am comparing it with another LNA which is USB powered, it did not work.I have used other TV preamps before, plug-in power....
