I have already put one shaft seal/bearing kits into my wash over the past 3 years. Just recently put in the second kit, and after completing I was having problems with the washer throwing the uL code. After further trouble shooting and research on the internet I decided I should replace the suspension rod kit. I am glad I did, after removing the old one and installing the new ones I found one of the rods badly bent out of shape. I have come to the conclusion that this was causing me premature shaft seal/bearing failures. This one rod being bent was causing the whole tub to constantly be misaligned, out of balance, and off center when in operation. At spin speed it was chewing the seal up or flexing enough to allow water into the bearings below it. No further issues after all the repairs. Much cheaper than a new washer! Thanks Kyle

Had to return it, a plastic piece was crack..hope to have it replaced...til I get one in good condition wouldn't be able to know if its going to resolve my UL problem...update..received the part..it's exactly the same part I return...parts trader and appliance parts seems to be the same company...when ahead replace the suspension rods using the "new parts' with the old plastic pieces and it did NOT resolve the UL issue..going now to replace the bearing to see resolve the problem...
