This steel wheel is strong and durable; probably heavier than aluminum, but does not warp like my aluminum wheel it replaced, which had to be “trued” (aligned) twice in the past year, but kept warping & scraping the brake pads.

It worked great for my older Trek bike. I was having problems with my last wheel breaking spokes quite often. Over a few years I replaced over 20 spokes. I put this on about 6 months ago and I have not had any spokes break. I'm a big guy so that is part of the problem. But I believe this wheel has more spokes so it is stronger. But it came perfectly true and ready to go, very slick and well greased. I think it is a good value.

been going strong for 6 moths now. did need to spend some time truing it before riding, but a couple zip ties and a spoke wrench are enough to do a good enough job.

Used this wheel on a trek multitrack 700 with the anbull bike engine kit. The old wheel on this bike had a 7 spd freewheel. The old wheel didnt support the axle and before long the race completely blew out of the hub. I'm heavy, the bike engine is heavy, my backpack is heavy and the bike frame is heavy. This wheel master Zac had a shimano cassette hub. Very good hub and wheel. It pulls me 35 mph and I slam into a pothole. The bike has no suspension. No problems with this wheel at all. I put hundreds of miles on it already. It's basically a mountain bike wheel. I have a 7 speed cassette on there with a spacer behind it. Recommend this wheel.

I wanted to use this with my trainer tire. Put in the tube and before using it, it was flat. Thinking that somehow i had damaged the tube during installation, I replaced the tube. Same issue, flat before even using it. When I checked, both tubes had the exact same puncture in the same place . There is something wrong with the wheel.

This wheel came perfect right out of the box....no adjustment necessary. I simply transferred my old cassette, tube and tire. Use it every day since (I am a heavy person) and it is strong and works great on the bike on the road. Thanks for making it right. I may order another. Pete

I had a small flat spot on my rear rim and could not true the wheel. This is an old Cannondale hybrid that I put a midmount Bafang 750w mid drive motor with V-brakes and 2 Hailong batteries mounted for gravel mountain road hard riding. The wheel was true and greased well. The spokes are much strong than on the original wheel. I put Continental Contact Plus 47-622 tires with 27.5”/650b X 2.0-2.4” Slime tube and created a solid smooth controlled descent ride. Purchase wheel tape.
