I received this wheel today and upon unboxing it the wheel it self seems nice but the bearing are either over tightened or jus bad in general. Spinning the wheel the bearing feels like it has dirt or out of round ball bearings with lots of resistance. I hope I can make some adjustments and make it correct.

Took a little getting used to putting a budget wheel on a full carbon/XT bike, but the wheel rolls smootly, the freehub engages and disengages smoothly and the rim is straight and well trued. Seem built like a tank so it's more appropriate for a 200 lb. rider than the lightweight wheel it replaced. Weight is the only drawback but it's scarcely noticable once you are riding. I mounted an 11 speed XT cassette and it fits perfectly

I think this rear wheel and freehub is going to last a long time. I'm pleased with it all around, EXCEPT (and this is just nitpicking, sorry guys) it's really quiet. I mean, stealthy quiet compared to other freehubs. I have to ring my bell when I come up behind people. If it was as loud and aggressive sounding as other hubs, it would do a better job of scaring away the bears where I like to ride.

While these are not meant to be tubeless, they can be made to work with tubeless tires with a bit of work. I used MucOff tubeless rim tape and Stan's tire sealant. This (the rear rim) had an issue with the rim seam leaking air regardless of there being tire sealant. I fixed that by buying some Gorilla super glue gel and applying it on the exterior of the rim seam and putting Slime tire sealant in before airing up the tire. Doing this worked EXTREMELY well.

Great product. Ready to go right out of the box, no issues at all. Exactly what I needed to upgrade my older bike with 9mm QR setup to 10 speed as original wheel/hub could only fit 7 speed cassette. Purchased mine from BikeSomewhere. They took quite a long time to deliver, but I was not in a hurry so it did not bother me. Been riding mountain trails for about 3 months with no issues whatsoever so far.

I bought these wheels as a second set to be mounted with less aggressive tires for pavement and path riding in town with my MB. These wheels are excellent quality for the price. Don't hesitate to buy. They were perfect OEM replacements and only needed the rear bearings loosened a bit and a 10 mm longer rear quick release for my frame.

Overall the wheel is well worth the money. My only complaint is that the bearings are a little too tight. I think there is too much drag created by the bearings. They need to be loosened a little to get the wheel to spin more freely.
