Not only are these not 100% cotton they aren't even a jersey knit.They are a woven, cotton/spandex blend. Imagine the most scratchy leggings fabric used for pillow cases.These are definitely getting returned.

It's got a zipper !! Keep the pillow inside! It's soft ,I got black and it's nice and dark . Machine washable.

I have never been so happy with a pillowcase in my life. I am 58yrs old and I am telling you the truth that this pillowcase gave me the best nights sleep ever! I have night sweats and sometimes still hot Flashes so I'm always uncomfortable with my pillowcases. Well people, not any more. I purchased pillows costing individually well over $100, multiple times, because they say they have a cooling effect BUT I have never experienced that cooling effect until I paired my pillows with these pillowcases. Not once did I sweat or even feel hot or bothered while sleeping. Actually, it was a sense of coolness, which was probably the pillows effect, but somehow paired together with these pillowcases, again, I was able to feel the best comfort EVER...and I've purchased too many pillowcases in my time. Most importantly, these pillowcases are super soft and having the zipper is the greatest part of these pillowcases. How uncomfortable is it to constantly fix your pillow in the pillowcases and make sure they are aligned. My pillows stay perfectly in these cases without needing to be adjusted. I purchased two colors pink and grey and the colors are vibrant. Take your time inserting your pillows into the pillowcases and you won't complain like I've seen in other reviews about the zipper and so forth...Because the zipper is the best part of the pillowcases. Enjoy I have to purchase a few more sets...

Super soft. Fits great. Zipper broke almost immediately. Then the corner started to tear. Great fabric but poor design.

I got the grey queen size ones for a floppy latex pillow we have on the couch. Very well made with nice soft, cottony fabric. Zipper works great. Also looks a lot better than the regular pillow cases we were using before.

Bought the dark grey, just now just bought a second pair. So, so soft and I thought the zipper would intrude on my comfort but not in the least, and it runs well. Cloth is much, much softer than another company's 100% cotton* jersey pillowcases I ordered that same day. Old cliché about good finds: wish there were more colors...*adding note: label attached to standard size dark grey pillow case reads 95% cotton, 5% spandex.
