So these are very cute and functional ladles so far. I love the fact that they come with their own little dishes that you can set each ladle in so you don't have to worry about people getting the counter dirty or having to put down paper towel or something similar to catch all the mess after portioning. I was afraid that they would be a little unstable standing up like that, but I'm happy to report that they stay very nicely put in their little saucers. My only issue with these is that they CAN be burned/melted by high heat so do be mindful of this when using! The plastic is the type that's a little flexible, just the right amount. Not super flimsy where it feels super cheap, but not so stiff that too much stress on it and it snaps. I expect that as long as nobody exposes them to too much heat that these will last quite a long while! The size is what I'd call optimal. These aren't huge ladles, but they aren't tiny either. Do with that what you may. Overall I love these they are cute as buttons and do a great job! Highly recommended for anyone in the market for a ladle

I picked up this whale-themed pink soup ladle and blue colander set, and they definitely add a fun, quirky touch to the kitchen. While the designs are adorable and the material feels safe for food use, they aren't always the most practical. The shapes, while cute, can be a bit cumbersome for regular cooking tasks like pouring or getting into corners of pots. They're great for serving or when you want to bring a little cheer to the kitchen, but for more serious culinary work, they might fall short of expectations.

These are so cute & functional. One is a solid scoop and 1 is a strainer. They have curve at top to sit in a pan or bowl. I like the white bases they come with to sit upright. Easy to wash-I put in dishwasher.

I have a pink and blue themed kitchen so I had to get these. They're so cute. They're a great shape for scooping soup too. Some ladle's aren't deep enough or are a weird shape but these, despite being whales, are perfect. I also like that one is a colander spoon for scooping things out easier. I highly recommend this pack!

These whales are my little buddies now. I made a stew with them today and they worked really well. The colander whale is great for shifting pasta from water directly to sauce, and I can't wait to try him with potatoes or other boiled veggies. The ladle whale is the star of the show, and it's very easy to serve with him and put him right back in his stand. These utensils have a lot of personality and handle heat very well. I'm having a whale of a time with them.

These are super cute and fun. No more cumbersome than some of my other ladles but definitely more fun to use. The whale adds a nice touch of whimsy. I do kind of wish they were one piece with the little feet to stand in a pot.
