Just as expected. It comes with pins to keep it in place and looks just like the photo. It's got some weight to it but lace is always breathable so it's not too hot.

Full disclosure: I'm more of a left-coast cat lady than a devout church lady, yet I found this headscarf very appealing. I loved the bright, yet rich, purple color of the item in the listing, and it did not disappoint in person. It’s a lovely headscarf - stretchy, light, and the perfect transparency and length. You could wear this as a traditional head covering, but it is equally great as a fashion statement, owning to the bright color. I purchased this to go with a favorite peacock-purple kimono I have, as I thought it would pair well with the lighthearted bohemian vibe. It makes me happy and I really like it. If you were looking for an inexpensive gift to give to as a secret santa or to a family member, especially an older lady with eclectic tastes, this would be a wonderful idea. The scarf is packaged nicely, although simply, as you can see in the first picture - yet certainly nice enough to give as a gift. I love this scarf and will no doubt purchase a few more in other styles from this company, in jewel tones and black. I’m quite impressed, and would highly recommend as an affordable little luxury, for your personal self-indulgence.

I like to wear a veil to mass and I am thrilled to find this very elegant one in black to add to my collection. The quality of the material and the beauty of the all over rose and fern pattern as well as the length and width of the veil make this a very elegant choice. I really appreciate the inclusion of a comb and bobby pins with the veil as they help keep the veil on as due to its' design and smooth fabric, it could start to slide down the back during mass.This veil is nicely light weight while still being thick enough so I can use the included hair comb without fear of damaging the veil. It is a beautiful, easy to wear and very elegant veil/shawl that is of excellent quality and a very good value for the amount that you pay for it. I will be getting a couple of these for gifts for other family members.

This is a VERY lovely veil! The lace is thick and substantial, it is not thin or wispy. It is long with scalloped edges on the ends that hang down, and straight hemmed on the long sides. They send it with some nice hair pins and a clip/comb that I will probably stitch in to keep it in place. I do think the lace is a bit slippery though, it is not the kind of lace that sticks in your hair. I think this would make a very nice gift but would have to be wrapped/packaged appropriately as it comes in a plastic zipper shipping bag. A really nice item, I am glad to have it! Oh --- it did take a long to time receive this item (by Amazon standards), so plan accordingly.

Nice, neutral off-white/cream color. Wide enough to cover the head and hair, and long enough to tie or drape over shoulders. Very slippery material, but does come with some hair pins to help out.

The fabric is smooth, stretchy, soft and shiny, I'm not thrilled with how the side edges are hemmed. The ends are scalloped lace. I will use it as an evening shall and with my Frozen costume.
