Warning , do not buy this junk , the plastic holding the vacuum diaphragm came apart while I was riding, almost crashed the bike , save your money and get quality parts , your life is worth it !!

Dangerous! It fall apart after unpacking. I am happy I did not put it on my bike.The rubber gasket is of good quality, but the tool was not put together securely. The plastic plates that hold the rubber gasket have a lot of wiggle room and easily slide of from the metal body.

The slide seems to have a slightly different design from the stock one. The needle cup is supposed to be held in place by a hexagonal fitting down inside the slide. This prevents the cup from spinning and covering the slide hole. This replacement part is not designed to hold the cup in place. It has a tiny cast piece in the bottom, but no where big enough to capture the needle cup. It’s possible that this slide will work fine, but I’m not willing to take the chance on rebuilding my carb and having an issue later on down the road.

This vacuum slide piston for the Harley CV Carb was a perfect fit. It was smooth and an upgrade from the OEM slide. It works very well. One of those "I'm thankful things"!
